It was a productive week on the ITF World Tennis Tour for Mia Horvit (USA) and Enola Chiesa (ITA), both delivering impressive performances across Europe between October 20 and 26, 2025.
Mia Horvit Shines in Bol Doubles
Competing at the W15 Bol tournament in Croatia, Mia Horvit partnered with Laura Svatikova (SVK) in the doubles main draw. The duo opened their campaign with a dominant 6–1, 6–2 win over Mariia Masiianskaia (RUS) and Sara Mikaca (BIH), advancing confidently to the quarter-finals.
In the next round, Horvit and Svatikova faced the experienced team of Sarah Melany Fajmonova (CZE) and Anastasiya Zaparyniuk (UKR). Despite a tight battle, they narrowly fell 6–7, 4–6, concluding their run after a well-fought match that showcased excellent teamwork and consistency on clay.
This result adds another solid doubles performance to Horvit’s 2025 season, confirming hersteady progress on the ITF circuit.
Enola Chiesa Reaches Semi-finals in Villena
Meanwhile, Enola Chiesa (ITA) enjoyed a strong singles run at the W15 Villena tournament in Spain, played on hard courts. Entering directly into the main draw, Chiesa displayed dominance from the start, overcoming Johanna Wnorowski (USA) 6–2, 6–2 in the opening round, followed by a commanding 6–1, 6–0 victory against Rikke De Koning (NED) in the second round.
In the quarter-final, she continued her solid form, defeating home favourite Maria Garcia Cid (ESP) 4–6, 6–2, 6–3 to advance to the semi-finals.
There, Chiesa faced fellow American Shannon Lam, pushing the match to three sets before narrowly losing 5–7, 7–6, 3–6 after an intense two-hour battle.
With another semi-final appearance, Chiesa continues to build momentum and consistency in her 2025 campaign, proving her resilience and growing form on the professional tour.
