Another active week on the international tennis circuit brought strong performances, valuable matches, and important tournament experience for our academy players and friends competing across Europe.

Oleg Prihodko — Cervia, Italia

Oleg Prihodko competed at the ATP Challenger 50 de Cervia, in Italia, playing in the singles main draw on clay.

He faced Andrea Guerrieri in the first round and started strongly, taking the opening set in a tiebreak. After a competitive three-set battle, the match ended 7-6(5), 3-6, 2-6.

Andreea Kurta — Les Franqueses del Vallès, Spain

Andreea Kurta had a solid week at the J60 Les Franqueses del Vallès tournament in Spain.

She opened with a strong win against Laia Pinsach Hidalgo, 7-5, 6-1, before reaching the second round, where she faced Carla Guerrero Calvo and finished with a 1-6, 4-6 result.

Letizia Sánchez Romero — Les Franqueses del Vallès, Spain

Letizia Sanchez Romero also competed at the J60 Les Franqueses del Vallès, playing in the qualifying draw.

She showed great fighting spirit in the first round, winning a close match against Queralt Lopez Alonso, 6-0, 3-6, 12-10. In the second qualifying round, her match against Mariel Vargas ended by retirement while trailing 1-3.

Maja Maksimowicz — Tallin, Estonia

Maja Maksimowicz competed at the J30 Tallinn tournament in Estonia on clay.

After receiving a first-round bye in qualifying, she played a close second-round match against Eva-Maria Adamchuk, finishing 4-6, 5-7.

Julia Adams — Kosice, Slovakia

Julia Adams delivered a strong week at the W75 Kosice tournament in Slovakia.

Starting from qualifying, she defeated Karolina Mrazikova in a three-set match, 7-6(7), 2-6, 6-1, and then continued in the singles main draw with an impressive win over Sona Depesova, 6-4, 6-1. Her run ended in the second round against Tyra Caterina Grant, 5-7, 3-6.

Julia also competed in doubles alongside Dominika Pirohova.

Mia Horvit — Bol, Croacia

Mia Horvit had an excellent doubles run at the W35 Bol tournament in Croatia, partnering with Gina Marie Dittmann.

The pair opened with a dramatic win over Federica Sacco and Ruien Zhang, 3-6, 6-3, 12-10, followed by a strong quarter-final victory against Iva Primorac Pavicic and Tara Wuerth, 6-4, 6-3.

Their run ended in the semi-finals against Yara Bartashevich and Weronika Falkowska, 2-6, 3-6.

Gwendolyn Fedel — Targu Jiu y Bucarest, Romania

Gwendolyn Fedel had an impressive performance at the J200 Targu Jiu tournament in Romania.

She advanced all the way to the semi-finals with three strong singles victories: 6-2, 6-2 against Ireland O’Brien, 6-1, 6-2 against Rozalie Vrajikova, and 6-3, 6-1 against Ana Chindris.

Her run ended in the semi-finals against Anastasiia Nikolaieva, 2-6, 1-6.

Gwendolyn also competed in doubles with Rozalie Vrajikova and has already started another tournament at J100 Bucharest, where she advanced into the second round after receiving a first-round bye.

Cezar Stefan Simion — Bucharest, Romania and Vadul lui Voda, Moldova

Cezar Stefan Simion competed in singles qualifying at the J100 Bucharest, where he faced Tudor Alexandru Zecheru and finished with a 3-6, 2-6 result.

He also played doubles at the J30 Vadul lui Voda tournament in Moldova alongside Nichita Condratiuc. The pair competed in the opening round against Artem Pandrak and Vincent Terekhin, with the match ending 0-6, 3-6.
